Before your first song
What people ask first.
What is Gana?
Gana is an iPhone app that turns a personal story into an original song. Describe the person, moment, or message in your own words, shape the genre, voice, energy, and arrangement, then hear a private 30-second concept of the direction before you decide to create the full song.
How does the 30-second preview work?
The preview is a private 30-second concept that plays your story, style, and energy together. It belongs to your draft, not a public post, and you can replay it while you decide. The full performance is created separately from the same confirmed brief, so melody, vocal, timing, and arrangement can vary.
What does Gana cost?
Your first preview is free on your device, no account required. Weekly includes 75 credits every seven days (up to 15 full songs), and Annual includes 300 credits every month during the annual term (up to 60 full songs). Allowances do not roll over; exact localized pricing and renewal terms are shown in the app before purchase.
Is my song private?
Yes. The 30-second concept belongs to your draft and is not a public post, and finished songs live in your own library. Sharing is a deliberate choice: you can open an unlisted, revocable browser link for the person the song was made for, and anyone with the link can listen until you revoke it.
Can I download my song as an MP3?
Yes. MP3 export comes with a purchased full render, and files you export to the Files app or another app live outside Gana and stay with you. The preview concept stays replayable inside Gana, and hosted share links likewise require the purchased full song.
Longer answers live in Support, the full FAQ, and the Gana journal.
