Common questions
How do credits work?
Five credits create one full song. Your first unpaid Gana preview is free on this device: one private 15-second personal preview before the hard paywall, no account required. The saved preview stays replayable and is not the purchased full performance; the full song is created separately from the same confirmed brief and lyrics, so melody, vocal, timing, and arrangement may vary. Failed or invalid full-song generation does not settle credits. Hosted share links and MP3 exports require a purchased full render. Share links are unlisted rather than access-controlled: anyone with the link can listen until you revoke it. One-time purchased credits stay until you spend them. Credits included with a subscription reset on the monthly billing date and do not roll over. Both follow your Gana sign-in across devices and reinstalls.
Can I get a refund?
All payments go through Apple, so refunds do too: request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. We can’t issue Apple refunds ourselves — no app can. But if a bug ate credits or a song failed to deliver, email us and we’ll restore the credits directly.
How do I delete my data?
For the anonymous saved concept, open Gana Settings → Privacy & data → Delete saved concept; this removes its audio and limited lyrics while keeping the content-free one-use record. For a signed-in account, open Settings → Account → Delete account and confirm. Gana removes account content, contact data, existing unused consumable credits, and that account’s songs stored inside Gana on this device, then signs the device out. Apple billing is separate: deletion does not cancel a subscription, and bounded purchase-continuity records are retained as described in the Privacy Policy. If you used Sign in with Apple, Gana asks Apple to disconnect the authorization and retries for up to seven days without delaying deletion. If Gana still appears afterward, open iPhone Settings → your name → Sign-In & Security → Sign in with Apple → Gana, then tap Delete. Files you exported to Files or another app remain outside Gana. If you cannot access the app, email support@trygana.app and we’ll verify the request. See the account-deletion guide and Privacy Policy.
Why is my song still syncing?
A paid song normally takes about a minute. Keep Gana open for uninterrupted rendering. If iOS pauses the app or you close it, reopen Library → Progress to reconnect to the same saved request without starting or paying twice. A terminal render failure restores the reserved credits automatically; if it still looks stuck after ten minutes, email us and we’ll help reconcile it.
Can I use my song commercially?
Not by default. A purchase unlocks the product features shown at checkout, but it does not by itself guarantee copyright, exclusivity, or commercial-use rights. Until the live generation-provider terms and Gana’s license are expressly confirmed, use generated songs personally and do not rely on them for monetized or client work. See Terms, section 3.
Still stuck
Include the Apple relay email shown in Gana, if one is available, plus roughly when the problem happened. That helps us find the right account and resolve the issue without another email.
